Norris Engineering was founded in 2022 by Ryan Norris, P.E. Ryan brought his years of experience across a variety of industries, including automotive, consumer products, industrial automation and conveyance, aerospace, and most recently, eBike gearbox development at Driven Technologies. He has a primary focus on gearing and rotating equipment but is able to tackle any machine design and development. Ryan is a licensed PE in Colorado, Washington State and Wyoming.
Recently, Ryan’s work has been seen predominantly in his work as Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer and inventor of the Driven Technologies “Orbit Drive” - the world’s most compact eCVT designed for the eBike market. The Orbit Drive saw great press at the 2023 Eurobike and was featured in many publications, including hottest drivetrain technology to watch for 2024 by Cycling Weekly.
